Terms, privacy and refunds.
This is the full English translation of our terms, privacy and refund policy, mirrored section by section from the Spanish original. The Spanish version, at stcprime.com/legal, is the one that legally applies — if the two ever disagree, the Spanish version wins. This text does not replace tailored legal advice; if you have questions about a specific case, write to us before subscribing.

Terms of use
STC Prime is a program you install on your own computer. From the photos you take with your phone, it builds those same photos into studio-style shots and writes a listing with a title, description and a reference price for selling the garment on Vinted.
How it processes your photos
All the image editing happens on your own computer, using your own compute account (the BYOF model explained on How it works). STC Prime does not have a server of its own that generates images: it uses the account you connected in your Settings, encrypted on your machine. You are responsible for keeping that account active and compliant with its provider's terms, and for making sure its use through STC Prime meets those terms.
Your listing, your responsibility
The price the program shows you is a calculation: from what that item costs new in your country, it applies the proportion that a second-hand item of that tier and condition is usually asked for. It's a market reference, not a sales promise or a valuation. Before publishing, check it yourself — measurements, the described condition and the final price — you are the only one responsible for what you publish on Vinted and for the listing matching the real garment.
Your account and licence
Access to STC Prime is tied to your email and your subscription plan. Don't share your licence with anyone outside your own business. With the same account, up to 2 computers can work at the same time, phones have no limit, and up to 5 more computers can watch the work live, read-only.
Price and renewal
The first month of your plan costs 1 €; from the second month it renews itself automatically, every month, at the price of the plan you chose. That one-euro first month counts once per customer, forever: if you come back, you pay the full plan price from the first month. No exceptions. Extra garments, if your plan has them and you accept them, are charged with your monthly invoice; if they go over 100 € in a month, we may charge them earlier, in parts. You can cancel anytime from the app (My account → Invoices, payment method and cancel): once you cancel you won't be charged for the plan again (at most, one last charge for any extra garments from that period still unbilled), and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Privacy
What we store, and why
- Your email address: to give you access and contact you about your account (we need it to provide the service).
- Your licence and plan: your subscription's identifier, which plan you're on and how many garments it includes — to provide the service and charge you correctly.
- How many garments you process each month, grouped into batches with the date and the device you opened them from — to calculate the charge for your plan and any extra garments.
- Your IP address, for two different things: to curb abuse (requesting the sign-in code over and over from the same connection, automated patterns) — a legitimate interest in protecting the service; and, on the day you agree to start using the service right away without waiting out your 14-day withdrawal period, to keep it together with the program or browser you were using (your user agent) as proof that it was you who asked for it — a legal requirement (Article 14.4, Directive 2011/83/EU).
- A technical fingerprint of your computer: on Windows, your motherboard's serial number or, if that can't be read, your Windows installation's identifier; on Mac, the machine's hardware identifier. We never store it as-is: it's converted with sha256 (a one-way calculation — the original value can't be recovered from it). If your computer won't let us read any of those identifiers, we generate a random one the first time and store it on your own machine so it doesn't change. We use it to apply the per-licence limit on computers working at the same time — you can see it in your account, under "Your devices" — and so a free trial on a given machine can only be used once, even if you reinstall the program.
- If you request a refund: the amount, the date and the reason — to process it and for our accounting.
- If you sign in with your Google account: Google confirms your email address to us, already verified by them — we don't request or store anything else from your Google account, not your name, your photo, or your contacts.
How long we keep it
- Email, licence, plan and garments processed: for as long as your account exists. Cancelling doesn't delete it right away: the licence stays marked as cancelled, because we need that history for accounting and taxes.
- The sign-in code and the IP address you requested it from: the code lasts 10 minutes, and an hour after it expires it deletes itself.
- The IP address and user agent from your legal consent (the one for starting right away): these don't delete themselves — they're the proof that you agreed, and we may need them even after your account no longer exists.
- The IP signals we use against abuse: the accumulated suspicion score resets to zero on its own after a few quiet hours, but today there's no fixed deadline for deleting the record itself — it stays for as long as it helps us protect the service, even after you've closed your account.
- The computer fingerprint you see in your account, under "Your devices": it's deleted if you remove that device (Forget).
- The free-trial lock fingerprint: it's never deleted, whether you remove the device or cancel your account — on purpose, so that trial can't be repeated by reformatting or reinstalling the program.
What we do NOT store
Your photos never pass through our servers: we never see, receive or store a single photo of yours. Only the count of garments processed reaches our server, to keep track of your plan. The photo editing and the listing text are done by the program on your own computer, sending them with your own compute account; that processing is governed by its provider's terms, not ours.
Payments
Subscription charges are handled by Stripe. We don't store your card details: Stripe processes them directly. If you sign up with the 1 € first-month offer, we keep next to your licence an irreversible code computed from the fingerprint Stripe gives your card (it is not the card number and cannot be turned back into it), to see whether the same card uses the offer from several accounts. That code is not deleted automatically.
Emails
Sending the emails with your sign-in code and your account notices is handled by Resend, a United States company. The emails are sent from its EU region (Ireland), but Resend stores the sending data (recipient, content and delivery logs) in the United States; that transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement and by its participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Our support mailbox, hola@stcprime.com, is hosted by iCloud Mail, from Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Ireland).
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and the server that validates your licence, and manages the DNS for the stcprime.com domain.
Data controller
The data controller is the owner of STC Prime. We are still finishing publishing their full tax identification details here (legal or trade name, tax ID and address), as required by the GDPR.
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure or any other right over your data, write to us at hola@stcprime.com (the same address you'll find in Settings → Help): we reply through that same channel.
Refunds and withdrawal
If you are an individual consumer (EU)
You have 14 calendar days of withdrawal from your first subscription, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.
When you activate your plan, the "All set" screen puts this notice next to the "Continue where I was" button: by pressing it you accept these terms and ask us to begin within those 14 days. We store that request with its date. That is what lets us get to work on day one instead of keeping you waiting two weeks.
With that request on record, if you withdraw within the period we refund what you paid minus the part proportional to what you have already used (article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU), and once the service has been fully performed the right of withdrawal is exhausted (article 16(a)). Without that request we do not process a single garment of your plan.
If you contract as a business or freelancer
You can cancel your subscription with no minimum term, effective at the end of the month you've already paid for. There's no penalty for cancelling.
Extra garments
The toll for garments processed beyond your plan is not refunded once processed: the photos and listing have already been generated and delivered.
How to request it
Write to us at hola@stcprime.com (the same address you'll find in Settings → Help) telling us you want to withdraw or request a refund, from the email you signed up with. We'll confirm through that same channel and process the refund as described above.
